1.74 High Refractive Plastic Lenses:
* The thinnest lenses available.
* 100 percent UV protection.
* Lightweight.
* Abbe’s number is 33
1.67 High Refractive Plastic Lenses:
* Thin and lightweight.
* 100 percent UV protection.
* Less expensive than 1.74
* Abbe’s number is 32
1.60 High Refractive Plastic Lenses:
* Thin and lightweight.
* 100 percent UV protection.
* Significantly more shatter-resistant than normal 1.50 plastic lenses and 1.67 and 1.74 plastic lenses
(Excluding polycarbonate and trivex)
* Less expensive than 1.74 and 1.64
* Abbe’s number is 41
* The highest value of EPI from polycarbonate.
Polycarbonate 1.59 Lenses:
* Very high and unique shock resistance.
* 100 percent UV protection.
* Lighter weight than plastic lenses.
* Abbe’s number is 30
1.54 Trivex Lenses:
* Very high and unique shock resistance.
* 100 per cent UV protection.
The highest value of Abbe is made of polycarbonate.
* Lighter lens material available.
* Abbe’s number is 45
1.50 Cr39 Lenses:
*Low cost.
*Best for vision Clarity
*Abbe’s number is 58
*Thick for high powers
